Bows - Question about the differences between the types - Guild Wars Forums

Hi all.

I have a new ranger charachter and I wonder what are the differences between the bows types in the game.
I guess that short bow will have shorter range then long bow, but I never seen any documentation or discussion on this subject.

I would appreciate your help
